I bought a couple of 3 young for my daughter who is about 2.5 or 3 dimensions of youth. but they turn out to be too large. just to give you an idea of how size is-I am an adult and 5.5 them perfectly. I also purchased a youth 4 that slip my heels every step I take. the normal adult 5.5 should be equivalent to 4 youth, not 3, but 4 is too large. then, make sure you get a smaller size for what the girl normally wears. the quality is very good, within
